3673354 - "No value mapping found for DOCUMENT_ID_TYPE" Error in a eDocument Cockpit App - S/4HANA Public Cloud

The error "'No value mapping found for DOCUMENT_ID_TYPE" is displayed when submitting a source document in eDocument Cockpit.

Note: The error can also be displayed as "No value mapping found for "TAX_TYPE_CUSTOMER" for the source document in eDocument Cockpit.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to the eDocument Cockpit app.
2. In the Source Document field, enter ABC (where ABC represents the Source Document ID).
3. Select Search.
4. Mark the eInvoice.
5. Select Go to -> Application Log.

The error "No value mapping found for DOCUMENT_ID_TYPE and value" is displayed.

This issues can happen due incomplete customization. The user must fill the value mappings 'DOCUMENT_ID_TYPE' and 'TAX_TYPE_CUSTOMER' in accordance to the values of fields Tax Type and Tax number Type from the BP or master data tables. 

The Value Mapping maintained for DOCUMENT_ID_TYPE and TAX_TYPE_CUSTOMER requires to be reviewed and corrected according to the Colombia Tax Authorities.

1. Go to the Configure Value Mapping App.
2. In the Namespace field, enter /EDOCO.
3. In the Value Mapping Name field, enter DOCUMENT_ID_TYPE.
4. Confirm if the Value Mapping is maintained according to the Colombia Tax Authorities.
5. In the Value Mapping Name field, enter TAX_TYPE_CUSTOMER.
6. Confirm if the Value Mapping is maintained according to the Colombia Tax Authorities.

Once the Value Mapping for the DOCUMENT_ID_TYPE and TAX_TYPE_CUSTOMER are correctly maintained in the Configure Value Mapping App and also in accordance to the values of field Tax Type and Tax number Type from the BP or master data tables, the submission for the Source Document can be performed again without any errors.
