3673389 - Payment Information error message on Latest Employee Profile- 2H2025

Symptom

The Payment Information portlet under the Personal Information tab in the Latest Employee Profile is displaying the error message: "Issues have occurred in the Configuration UI metadata transformer: Name is null."

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central -Payment Information
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to any user.
  2. Navigate to the "Personal Information" tab.
  3. Check the Payment Information portlet, which displays the error message "Looks like something went wrong"
  4. Hover the mouse on the question mark and it displays the error message as ""Issues have occurred in the Configuration UI metadata transformer: Name is null." 

Cause

Incorrect configuration UI. 

Resolution

  1. Check the UI rules and correct if any incorrect rules are configured. 
  2. In PP3, invalid configuration was ignored, hence there was no error messages. However, In PPX, invalid configurations are not ignored and shows error message.
