Previously, when settlement was completed for a co-product production order, it was not possible to change the settlement rule.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The original system behavior restricted changes to the settlement rule once the settlement process was done for co-product production orders.

With the introduction of release CFD2508.3, the behavior has been updated:

• If the cost has only been distributed (indicated by the presence of EBWP (WIP posting) but not EBVP (variance posting) on the item), it is now possible to change the settlement rule.
