The packaging specification includes auxiliary packaging materials.

After clicking automatic packing in Change Inbound Deliveries - Deliveries app, the HU might be created without auxiliary packaging materials.

This document provides a brief guide on how to create auxiliary packaging materials for the automatic packing process.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Support for packing with auxiliary packaging materials in EWM has been available as of CE 2508.02.

1. Go to configuration activity 105798 - Define Unified Package Building Profile.
2. Select the profile "SPB_EWM_INB".
3. Enable the "Include Auxiliary Packaging Materials in UPB Result" flag.

Ensure the packaging material type for auxiliary materials as "Auxiliary packaging material" which is defined in configuration activity 103924 - Define Packaging Material Types in WM.
