3673600 - Space removed before equal sign in partial index WHERE clause when changing DBMS - SAP PD

Symptom

  • The equal sign (=) operator is used in partial index WHERE clauses in PostgreSQL.
  • The current DBMS of a Physical Data Model (PDM) is changed from PostgreSQL 14.x to PostgreSQL 16.x.
  • The space immediately before the equal sign operator is specifically removed.
  • The space after the equal sign operator is preserved.
