Symptom

In the latest people profile, job information permission(s) are not respected in latest edit UI, when accessing via the edit/pencil icon.

Permissions are respected when editing via 'take action' on the profile, as this retrieves the legacy edit UI.

In the latest people profile, employment details are not respected in latest edit UI, when accessing via the edit/pencil icon.

In order to verify you are using the latest edit UI, please review if the setting ‘Enable the latest editing and history UI for employee central HRIS entities on full profile’ is enabled in Configure Latest People Profile UI.
