In the latest people profile, when editing Employee Central data such job information permissions are not respected in latest edit UI is enabled.
Is observed that permissions are respected when editing via 'take action' on the profile.
In order to verify you are using the latest edit UI, please review if the setting ‘Enable the latest editing and history UI for employee central HRIS entities on full profile’ is enabled in Configure Latest People Profile UI.
