3673716 - OnChange Rule is not triggering in Add New Employee - 2H 2025

Symptom

In Add New Employee, when filling / selecting a field that has an onChange Rule assigned, it is not being triggered.

In Employee Profile it works as expected.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Hire

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to the "Add New Employee" wizard;
  2. When selecting / filling a field that has an onChange Rule assigned, you noticed that it is not being executed (page does not load);
  3. Rule is also not executed in Rule Trace.

Resolution

  • The issue will be fixed via patch scheduled for 11th Nov 2025.

Workaround:

Manually select the value that should be populated via Rule.
