3673818 - Hierarchy or hierarchy with directory does not display data

• The hierarchy does not display any data in the dimension.
• Although data exists in the directory, nodes, and master data, the hierarchy is not visible.
• Missing nodes in the hierarchy result in data not being displayed during preview.
• Number of missing nodes identified.

• SAP Datasphere

1. Access the dimension "G/L Account Charts of Account (Dimension) (View)" in SAP Datasphere Data Builder.
2. Navigate to "G/L Account Hierarchy (View)" in SAP Datasphere Data Builder.
3. Preview the hierarchy IMPL within the dimension G/L account.
4. Observe that no data is displayed despite the presence of data in the directory, nodes, and master data.
5. Run the validation tool on "View 2 (View)" in SAP Datasphere Data Builder to identify missing nodes.

• The fact view contains records with foreign key values that are not defined in the associated hierarchy with directory.
• The issue is caused by fact records that reference hierarchy members that don’t exist in the associated Hierarchy with Directory
• This results in data related to missing nodes being excluded from the hierarchy preview.
