3673823 - Time recording duration not adjusted for 23:30 to 00:00

Duration is not updated when entering a time entry with Start Time as 23:30 and End Time as 00:00. Expected duration is 30 minutes, but the system displays 0 minutes.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Navigate to Time Recording.
2. Open Time Entries.
3. Create a new Time Entry with Start Time set to 23:30 and End Time set to 00:00.
4. Observe that the expected duration is 30 minutes.
5. The system displays the duration as 0 minutes.

When the Start Time is set to 23:30, it is the last time in the dropdown list. When the End Time is set to 00:00, it is the first time in the list, causing the system to interpret the End Time as prior to the Start Time.  00:00 is recognized only as the first time at the start of the day and not as a continuation of the next day.

1. Enter a manual End Time of 23:59 in the Time Entry field.
2. This will allow the duration to be recognized as 29 minutes.
3. Consider submitting a feature request to have 24:00 recognized as an End Time after 23:30 via the SAP Influence forum: SAP Influence Forum.
