3673872 - MDF Object Rules with “Error” Context Bypassed on Save After Enabling “Enable Full Profile”

Symptom

  • After enabling "Enable Full Profile" for the latest People Profile in SAP SuccessFactors Platform, rules set in MDF objects with "Error" as context are not functioning as expected.
  • Errors are displayed and restrict actions during loading but are bypassed when saving the MDF object, allowing workflows to trigger.
  • In the old People Profile, the rules work correctly, restricting actions on save and preventing the process from proceeding.

Reproducing the Issue

  • Login to the instance.
  • Enable "Enable Full Profile" for the latest People Profile.
  • Create or update an MDF object with rules set to trigger an error on save.
  • Attempt to save the MDF object. Observe that the error is bypassed, and the workflow triggers.

Cause

This is a Known Issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.
