3673971 - Location not Displayed on Manage my Team Quick Action Card in Home Page

• When opening the "Manage My Team" view, the location of some employees are not displayed.
• A certain location in the "Manage My Team" quick action card under the information section is not getting displayed correctly. 

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core 

1. Login to SAP SuccessFactors.
2. Proxy as a sample manager / login as a manager. 
3. On the homepage, click the "Manage My Team" quick action card.
4. Observe that some locations are not displayed correctly. 

This is because of the Code used on the Location that contains a special character. As stated here on 3126121 - Special Characters in Object External Code - SAP for Me: 

Although system will not throw an error advising not to use special characters in object's external codes, it is not recommended to maintain that as it may lead to inconsistencies and issues in other objects, associations and transactions.

To address such issue, refrain from using a special character on the Code of the location. You can update it by: 

1. Login to instance with an admin user. 
2. Go to Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures. 
3. Select Location, then search for the affected location which is not showing up on the Manage My Team quick action card. 
4. Select Take Action then edit the Code of the Location and remove the special characters. 

After the special character on the Code is removed, the Location should show as usual on the Manage my Team card:

This is currently the expected behavior for locations with special characters on the Code as the code are used to reference the code; if the Location's code have special characters such as asterisk (*), the reference call will encounter a syntax issue. It is highly advisable for now not to use a special character on the Code.
