3674017 - Preferred unit of measure (uom) field not populating during product master migration in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

• The "Preferred UoM" field is not populating during the migration of the Product Master data in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
• Despite the migration table being populated and the migration process marked as successful, the "Preferred UoM" field remains empty.
• The UoM field with ISO code "CS" and base unit "PCE" was migrated, but the "Preferred UoM" field was not updated.

sap s/4hana cloud public edition

1. Access the migration cockpit in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Migrate the product master data using the migration object "Product".
3. Populate the "Preferred UoM" field and maintain its conversion in the alternative units of measure.
4. Ensure that the migration table is populated and the migration process is marked as successful.
5. Observe that the "Preferred UoM" field remains empty after migration.

In the XML, the "Preferred UoM" on the Warehouse Product sheet maps to the Preferred UoM in the Warehouse Management (WM) area. This value is warehouse-dependent and applies only to a specific warehouse. This warehouse-dependent field is currently visible only in the Fiori app Warehouse Monitor -> Product Master Data -> Warehouse Attribute.

The "Preferred UoM" in APP Display Material (APP ID MM03) corresponds to the Preferred UoM under WM Execution tab, which is warehouse-independent. That WM Execution field is not included in the migration XML. That WM Execution field is not included in the migration XML template. Per the Field List sheet (WM Execution Data group, Basic Data table), only Handling Indicator and Warehouse Product Group are available in the XML.
