3674237 - Reserved Material appears in FSM Mobile Apps but cannot be consumed

Symptom

  • Reserved Materials (RMs) are visible in the Service call or Activity but cannot be consumed in SAP Field Service Management Mobile apps (Android/iOS/Windows)

  • The available quantity shows as 0, even though the reserved material has a defined quantity in the database when checked via the Query API:
    (SELECT rm.shipped, rm.quantity, rm FROM ReservedMaterial rm;)

  • This behavior can occur when the company setting CoreSystems.ReservedMaterial.RestrictConsumptionToShippedQuantity is enabled, which calculates available quantity based on shipped quantity
