3674254 - Error VP199 encountered during create with reference of sales order

Symptom

  • While creating a Sales Order with reference to the Billing Document number, the issue "No customer master record exists for sold-to party" (VP199) is encountered.
  • The customer is maintained for the sales area and all partner functions are available.
  • A Sales Order, Delivery, and Billing have already been created for the same customer, yet the issue persists when creating a follow up Sales Order.
