3674447 - Error Message "The Field Assignment has not yet been Made" in Define Access Sequences for Purchasing

The error “The field assignment has not yet been made” (Message No. VK376) is occurring when trying to maintain an access sequence in define access sequences for purchasing.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Implementation Activities.
2. Search for Define Access Sequences for Purchasing.
3. Locate and select the required Access Sequence.
4. Attempt to maintain the Access Sequence.
5. Error occurs as “The field assignment has not yet been made” (Message No. VK376).

To resolve the error follow the below steps:

1. Select the line item (e.g., LLAND) where error is thrown in the field section and click on the field catalogue.
2. Assign the appropriate field (e.g., KOMK-ALAND). 
3. Save the changes.
