• customer will use the title to decide if he/she will read the rest of the KBA or not.
• The title must be easily searchable and relevant to the content.
• Should be less than 200 characters.
• External search engines display <60 characters so when possible the most relevant content should be at the beginning of the title. Because of the character limit, do not add acronyms like FAQ or KBA at the beginning of the title because it takes up important space in that 60-character limit.
• Use abbreviations to conserve character space. However, the abbreviation must be explained in the body of the KBA.
• If the KBA could apply to more than one product, place the product name at the end of the title.
• If the KBA applies only to a specific product and version, place the product and version at the end of the title.
