Symptom

  • CMS Service did not start after the Data Services upgrade
  • Error in the CMS logs
    • terminate called after throwing an instance of 'CXLib500: CSharedLibraryException'
      <Install Dir>/sap_bobj//ccm.sh: line 84: 1322878 Aborted (core dumped) $CE_CMDLINE_PREFIX mozjsshell "$CCMFILE" "$@"   
  • Adding new SIA also fails with the above-mentioned error 
  • cmsdbsetup.sh is crashing while performing the KBA 1571984 How to update data source in BI 4.x Unix/ Linux Environment?
     
  • Repair of BI/IPS start the CMS service for a while but after a SIA restart CMS service did not start.
