Symptom
Rules configured under "Employee Information Model" are not working to set values while adding an employee through Position Org Chart.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Configure a Business Rule to set an Employment Details value under Hire scenario;
- Select 'Employee Information Model' as the base object;
- Go to Position Org Chart and select the option to add an employee to the Position;
- See that the rule is executing in the rule trace, but value is not saved on UI.
Resolution
Engineering is investigating this behavior. This KBA will be updated once a conclusion is made.
