Symptom

  • ASE and replication are running fine.
  • Stack trace error repeating in Primary ASE error log for different suids.
  • When checking the login name with suid hitting the stack trace error, most are the Maint users for replication.
    select name from syslogins where suid in (<suid1>, <suid2>,<suid3>...)
    go

  • Stack trace includes function:
    pcstkwalk()
    ucstkgentrace()
    ucbacktrace()
    exc__raise()
    exc_raise()
    senddone()
    conn_hdlr()
