Symptom

When trying to uncheck 'Activate Advanced Valuation' in SSCUI 103315 - Activate Advanced Valuation, the warning message occurred: Deactivation will delete settings for "Maintain Fiscal Year and Period" .

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access SSCUI 103315 - Activate Advanced Valuation
  2. Uncheck the box for 'Activate Advanced Valuation'
  3. Warning occurred

Cause

'Maintain Fiscal Year and Period' is the second layer view in SSCUI 103315 - Activate Advanced Valuation.

Select an entry of Accounting Principle and click 'Maintain Fiscal Year and Period' to access the configuration.

Resolution

This warning can be ignored and the deactivation can be proceed if it is not necessary to retain the configuration in 'Maintain Fiscal Year and Period.'
