Symptom

  • Error "Invalid json payload sent: $.summaryCards.employeeInfo.localizedDescription: null found, object expected" on saving Employee Information Block in Configure Latest People Profile.
  • Error shown only when we Edit the Block Employee Information, Time Information, Time Management Links, Internal Job History.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Configure Latest People Profile > Personal Data.
  2. Select Employee Information Block > Edit the Block.
  3. Disable the "Visible on Full Profile" option and save the changes.
  4. Observe the error message: "Invalid json payload sent: $.summaryCards.employeeInfo.localizedDescription: null found, object expected".

Resolution

The solution of this issue is currently under investigation. Please follow this KBA for updates.

Workaround - Navigate to Configure Latest People Profile > Personal Data > Employee Information > Disable the "Visible on Full Profile" and click on submit.
