3674663 - Unable to change the order of internet email addresses in the app maintain business partner in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

Symptom

  • The user wants to change the order of Internet Email Addresses via the app Maintain Business Partner.
  • During the mass upload of Supplier Master Data, email IDs intended for position 002 were automatically set to position 001.
  • The user is unable to modify the order of email IDs in the Supplier Master Data under the Address-Independent Communication section.

Environment

S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Maintain the Vendor's email ID at position 001 and the respective team's ID at position 002 in the Supplier Master Data under Address-Independent Communication.
  2. Perform a mass upload of Supplier Master Data.
  3. Observe that some email IDs intended for position 002 are automatically set to position 001.

Cause

Resolution

  1. Changing the order of email addresses within the Maintain Business Partner settings is not permitted.
  2. Users can only add or delete email addresses, but the order cannot be modified.
