3674722 - 'CSRF token is missing' error in Cloud Integration OData V4 adapter when connecting to on-premise S4/HANA system

Symptom

When using the OData V4 adapter in Cloud Integration to connect an on-premise S4/HANA system, the error '{"error":{"code":"/IWBEP/CM_V4H_RUN/043","message":"CSRF token is missing","@SAP__common.ExceptionCategory":"CSRF_Token_Missing"}}' occurs although CSRF protection is enabled.

Error details at OData v4 receiver adapter:
com.sap.gateway.core.ip.component.exceptions.OData4Exception: (/IWBEP/CM_V4H_RUN/043) CSRF token is missing [HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden], cause: org.apache.olingo.client.api.communication.ODataClientErrorException: (/IWBEP/CM_V4H_RUN/043) CSRF token is missing [HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden]
