3674780 - Group Reporting: Runtime Error: 'RAISE_SHORTDUMP', when posting a group journal entry

You are using the Post Group Journal Entries app (App ID: F2971) and you try to post a group journal entry. You click to the "Check" button and you get an error like below.
In the Manage Substitution and Validation Rules app (App ID: F4407) you defined a validation rule, that should be applicable to the group journal entry, that you try to post.

"Runtime Error: 'RAISE_SHORTDUMP'. The OData request processing has been abnormally terminated. If you use SAP S/4HANA Cloud, please create an incident. Otherwise, if "Runtime Error" is not initial, launch ADT feed "Runtime Errors" or transaction ST22 / SM21"


In transaction ST22, you get an ABAP dump like the following:
