3674870 - Importing a table to Datasphere or HANA fails with error "Field 'TRANSFER' is not a member of record 'RODPS_REPL_T_FIELD'"

Symptom

  • Importing a table from an ABAP system, such as ECC, S4HANA, or BW, into Datasphere or a HANA DB fails with the following error message:
    • errorgetCSNDefinition: invalid remote object name: Field 'TRANSFER' is not a member of record 'RODPS_REPL_T_FIELD'
  • The issue happens after updating the source ABAP system. 
  • The DP Agent framework logs display the error as:
    • [ERROR] [XXXXX] DPFramework | WorkerThread.processRequest [] - com.sap.hana.dp.adapter.sdk.AdapterException: Field 'TRANSFER' is not a member of record 'RODPS_REPL_T_FIELD' Context: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoRuntimeException: (127) JCO_ERROR_FIELD_NOT_FOUND: Field 'TRANSFER' is not a member of record 'RODPS_REPL_T_FIELD'
