3674892 - 2H 2025 - New Edit UI Not Applicable When Editing Via 'Change Job And Compensation Information'

Symptom

With ‘Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile (Except Compensation Information)’ enabled, the new edit UI shows when editing data via the pencil/edit icon on a portlet/card on the Full Profile, and when editing data via 'View All' > 'Create' / 'Correct' on the Full Profile.

However, when editing the employee’s data via ‘Take Action’ > ‘Change Job & Compensation Information’, the old edit UI still shows, even when only selecting ‘Job Information’ to edit.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  • Log into environment
  • Go to the Public Profile of an employee
  • Select ‘All Actions’ > ‘Change Job and Compensation Info’ and select ‘Job Information’ with any effective date
  • Old UI shows

COMPARED TO

  • Go to the Public Profile of an employee
  • Select the ‘Job Data’ section/category
  • Select the pencil icon on the ‘Job Information’ card, select any effective date, and ‘Apply’
  • New UI shows

Cause

Current expected behaviour as of the 2H 2025 release.

The "Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile" setting is only applicable to the summary cards and detail pages navigated to from the Full Profile.

The Edit UI when navigating from 'Take Action' / 'All Actions' is a separate item, and is a planned future enhancement with no release timeline as of yet.

Once updates are released on the enhancement and its progress, this KBA will be updated accordingly.
