3674912 - Compensation Template is not saved, when "Prorate based on" = Date is selected - SuccessFactors Compensation

Symptom

When enabling salary proration based on "Date" in the Calculation Settings section > Salary Proration. The system fails to save the changes. The system is continuously displays "Saving" but does not complete the save action.  

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to "Plan Setup" > "Settings" for a Compensation Plan.  
  2. In the Calculation settings section > Salary Proration, enable salary proration based on "Date". Here there are multiple scenarios that you can follow to reproduce the issue:
    • When Proration Start Date and Proration End Date is initially empty and you press "Save . OR
    • When Proration Start Date is populated but the Proration End Date is empty and you press "Save". OR
    • When Proration Start Date is a date after Proration End Date's and you press "Save".
  3. After any of these scenarios: the "Saving..." icon appears, but the save is not happening.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.
