Several Master Inspection Characteristics were configured in the inspection plan, yet only a few are reflected in the inspection lot.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Application "Display Inspection Plan".
- Enter the material, plant and group.
- Select the respective operation and click on Inspection Characteristics.
- Check all the desired Master Inspection Characteristics are maintained.
- Observe that not all Master Inspection Characteristics are visible in the inspection lot.
Cause
The missing Master Inspection Characteristics were added into the inspection plan after the inspection lots had already been generated.
Resolution
- Verify the creation dates of the inspection lots and ensure that the Master Inspection Characteristics were added to the inspection plan before the creation of the inspection lots.
- If MICs were added to the inspection plan after the creation of inspection lots, note that the existing lots will not automatically reflect these changes.
