3675068 - Editing Behavior in Center of Capabilities Displays Incorrect Behavior

In Manage Center of Capabilities within SAP SuccessFactors, an unexpected behavior occurs when editing Behaviors.

When a user starts editing one Behavior and then opens another Behavior without saving or canceling the first edit, the second Behavior opens in edit mode tied to the first Behavior.

The issue does not occur if the first Behavior is saved or canceled before opening the second Behavior.

SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub

1. Login to the Instance.

2. Navigate to Admin Center → Manage Center of Capabilities.

3. Select the Competency Library and open a Competency.

4. Click on Behavior to view the list of behaviors.

5. Click Edit on any Behavior to start editing.

6. Without saving or canceling the edit, click on another Behavior to open it.

7. Observe that the second Behavior automatically opens in edit mode, inheriting the edit state of the first Behavior.

This is current system behavior.

This is the current system behavior and is working as designed. The system does not allow navigation to another Behavior without either saving or canceling the ongoing changes in the current Behavior.

To proceed, please save or cancel the edits before navigating to another Behavior. Once the changes are saved, they will be reflected as expected.

Note: There are no planned enhancements for this functionality, as Talent Intelligence Hub (TIH) is considered the successor product. Customers are encouraged to explore upgrading to TIH for enhanced capabilities.
