3675349 - Error during SLD topology file generation in SAP Convergent Mediation integration with SAP Solution Manager

Symptom

While integrating Convergent Mediation systems with SAP Solution Manager following SAP Note 2718475 - SAP Convergent Mediation 4.0 or above - AppOps Integration
and the document https://d.dam.sap.com/s/c/a/5DEwd2g/SAPCM_AppOps_Integration_3.3.pdf,

3.4. SLD Data Supplier Integration
3) Generate the initial cluster description file

Use the following commands to generate the initial version of “cluster-sld.conf”
$ mzsh mzadmin/<Password> sldreg


The following error is in the output and no “cluster-sld.conf” file is created under “sap-sldreg” folder. 

SLD topology file: /usr/sap/<CM SID>/tmp/cell/default/sldtopology.conf
Must have a host configured in topology for container cmsplaform.
null.
sldreg config file path is invalid /usr/sap/<CM SID>/tmp/cell/default/sldtopology.conf
