For mass data updates, SAP provides general mass maintenance functionality, where users can schedule background jobs to process changes collectively.

For large-scale updates, the SAP Migration Cockpit can be used to perform mass data maintenance, including updates to SEPA mandates.

To ensure consistency:

• Update the SEPA mandate at the 'Business Partner' level so that all new documents reference the correct mandate.
• Existing open items are handled by dunning and payment programs, which will evaluate the updated mandates during payment runs.

This approach eliminates the need to reverse or recreate invoices while maintaining proper linkage between SEPA mandates and open items.
