3675592 - Workflow Approval Notifications are not sent to the initiator when Approval is done from the Approval Cards on the Home Page - 2H 2025

• After the 2H 2025 Release, Approval Notifications are not sent to the initiator via the Home Page.
• Approval Notifications are sent to the initiator when approved via the Workflow Details page.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Log in to the system.
2. Create a three-level approval workflow.
3. Perform approval from the home page for each approver.
4. Observe that the standard confirmation email notification is not sent to the workflow initiator.
5. Perform approval by accessing the workflow details page.
6. Observe that the notifications are correctly sent to the initiator.

• You can remove the permission to approve from Approval cards for the button Approve & Decline as per this KBA - 3257166 - Approve/Decline buttons not showing for Approval Cards or Approve the requests by going to the workflow details page till the issue is fixed.
