3675692 - Cannot Hide Field "Search Address" in custom Page Layout

Symptom

Field "Search Address" does not show "Hide" Option in Custom Page Layout

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  • Login to tenant
  • Navigate to Customer -> Accounts
  • Click on (+) Create New Account
  • Open Adaptation Mode 
  • Navigate to field "Search Address"
  • Navigate to any custom page layout
  • Notice that option to Hide the field is not available

Cause

The field has no visibility feature in Master Layout due to technical limitations and hence would not have these properties in Custom Layout as well.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior.
