3675723 - Application occurs with errorid=null when editing a custom MDF portlet on the Latest People Profile

Symptom

"An application occurred" error message is displayed with no error id when attempting to edit a portlet.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAP SuccessFactors 
  2. Navigate to "My employee files".
  3. Go to  the affected Custom Portlet
  4. Click "Edit".
  5. Observe error message: "An application error occurred. Please try again Later, or notify support if the issue keeps occurring." Error: errorId=null, timestamp=null, errorMessage=Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'value'), errorName=TypeError

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed with the patch b2511.

Workaround: 
Remove the URL token from the Manage Configuration UI screen.
