When attempting to do an LMS-OCN Integration with Third Party tool, Category ID is not updated automatically
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Cause
Categories are not automatically assigned to Open Content Network (OCN) courses.
Resolution
Categories must be added manually to OCN courses or in bulk via a connector.
Avoid using the Item connector for OCN items as it may cause courses to become out of sync due to incorrect utilization, which cannot be reversed.
Configure default settings for OCN courses, such as item type, completion status, and auto-record attribute rating on item completion.
