3675908 - Manage Action Search Missing Despite Having Required Role-Based Permissions

• Manage action search is not visible after providing required permissions by the super admin.
• Even after the Super Admin assigns all required permissions, the Manage Action Search does not appear.
• The user has access to Admin Center, but the Manage Action Search function is not listed.
• Role-Based Permission (RBP) settings for Manage Action Search are already granted to the target role or group.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite 

1. Log in as a super admin.
2. Assign the required Role-Based Permissions for Manage Action Search.
3. Navigate to the relevant section where Manage Action Search should be visible.
4. Observe that Manage Action Search is not visible despite the permissions being correctly assigned.

The issue was caused by two accounts having the same name but different usernames. When the name was used, the system selected the incorrect account, resulting in the permissions not being applied correctly.

• Verify the Role-Based Permissions, including the creation of Manage Permission Groups and assignment of appropriate roles.
• Confirm that Manage Action Search is enabled.
• Validate all relevant Platform Feature Settings.
• Log out and log back in after applying the necessary changes.
• Perform an RBP refresh for the instance and repeat login steps.
• Ensure the user belongs to the correct permission group.
• Use the username instead of the name to assign permissions to avoid selecting the wrong account.
• Delete duplicate accounts with the same name to prevent future issues.
