Symptom

Time zone differences observed between C4C UI and OData payload response.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer, Data Workbench

Cause

  1. Data displayed on the user interface (UI) takes into account the user's system time zone.
  2. Data extracted through OData or Data Workbench is always extracted in UTC time zone.
  3. All backend data is stored in UTC time zone to avoid data inconsistency.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior.
