3675944 - Issue with creating Purchase Requisitions with cost centers in "My Purchase Requisitions" app

Symptom

  • Users are experiencing issues creating Purchase Requisitions (PR) with Cost Centers in the "My Purchase Requisitions" app.
  • When "My User Defaults" are set to e.g. 1010, the system does not refresh or update when switching to 1210 company details, causing the system to remain "locked" onto 1010-related data.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the "My Purchase Requisitions" app.
  2. Set "My User Defaults" to 1010.
  3. Attempt to switch company code manually from 1010 to 1210 while creating a new item.
  4. Observe that dependent fields such as Cost Center, Plant, and Purchasing Group do not auto-refresh, leading to errors or incorrect organizational assignments.

Cause

When a user opens the “My Purchase Requisitions” app, the system reads user defaults from App: Default settings for users or in My User Defaults. Those defaults are cached in the browser session memory.

    Resolution

    This issue will be fixed as part of the 2602 release on February 16, 2026. As a workaround, remove user defaults and retry the creation process to confirm the issue is resolved.
