Symptom

"Enable Enhanced People Search in the Global Header and the Directory Search" under Company System and Logo Settings is grayed out.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Company System and Logo Settings.
  2. Search for "Enable Enhanced People Search in the Global Header and the Directory Search".
  3. Observe that the toggle is grayed out.

Cause

"Enable Company Onboarding for Enhanced People Search" is disabled.

Resolution

Enable "Enable Company Onboarding for Enhanced People Search". 

Once enabled, the toggle for "Enable Enhanced People Search in the Global Header and the Directory Search" will be available.

NOTE: The onboarding process can take several hours, depending on the size of your workforce.

After enabling the onboarding option, it became greyed out and can't be disabled.
