3675961 - Activity Costs for Each Operation During Production Order Confirmation

During production order confirmation, activity costs are only posted for the last operation (milestone operation), while earlier operations (e.g., 0010, 0020) do not show cost postings.

The requirement is to post activity costs for each individual operation during confirmation.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

When confirming the milestone operation (for example, operation 0030), the system automatically confirms and posts costs for all preceding operations (0010 and 0020).

As a result, costs for earlier operations are included in the milestone operation’s posting and no separate cost postings occur for operations 0010 and 0020.

To have activity costs posted for each operation individually, ensure:

1. Control key (assigned to operation 0010 and 0020) allows cost posting,
2. Work center is correctly set for cost, and
3. Activities are recorded during confirmation of operations 0010 and 0020.
