3675992 - Warning "condition record with same key is already being processed" raised while creating new condition records for free goods

When adding a new free goods condition record using the app 'Manage Free Goods - Sales', the warning message "Condition record with same key is already being processed. See long text." (Message no. VK104) is displayed.

The entered condition record is removed automatically.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app 'Manage Free Goods - Sales'.
2. Enter the necessary criteria for checking an existing condition record.
3. Attempt to add a new free goods condition record, matching the same key as the existing one.
4. Observe the warning message "Condition record with same key is already being processed. See long text." (Message no. VK104).
5. Notice that the entered condition record is removed automatically.

The warning message is raised because a new condition record is being added in change mode. This occurs when the app 'Change Free Goods' is used to modify an existing condition record while simultaneously attempting to add a new condition record with the same key (e.g. material ID).

To create new condition records for free goods, it's advised to use the app 'Create Free Goods - Sales' instead. It can be accessed via the 'Manage Free Goods - Sales' app by navigating to Menu > Discounts > Free Goods - Sales.

Note: If a new record is saved for the same keys and with a validity period that overlaps an existing record, the last-saved record will update or replace the existing one for that overlapping period.
