Symptom
- Labels designed for 300 DPI result in misaligned physical prints when printed on printers with different DPI settings, despite the paper size remaining the same.
- The issue is observed during rollout testing.
Environment
- S/4 HANA cloud public edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Define label based on the requirement of the plant to print on a 300 DPI printer.
- Print the label on printers with different DPI settings.
- Observe that physical prints are misaligned despite using the same paper size.
Resolution
- In the app "Maintain print queues," define a new print queue for each printer with varying DPI settings.
- Select the appropriate DPI format in the "Format" field while creating the print queue.
- Assign each print queue to the corresponding printer in the cloud print manager.
