3676174 - system status appears as PCNF instead of CNF after activity confirmation via work center pod in digital manufacturing cloud

When the production order is fully confirmed with all the operations from work center pod, in S4 hana public cloud the operation status is not updated with "CNF" instead its updating with PCNF.

1. Create a production order using transaction CO01 and send it to DMC.
2. Release the order in DMC via the manage order application.
3. Perform activity confirmation using Work Center POD
4. Do not perform the assemble function as the backflush indicator is activated.
5. Complete the activities.
6. Production Order Yield Confirmation message and Order Complete message show in integration message dashboard
7. Verify the system status in SAP S/4HANA (observe that the status appears as PCNF instead of CNF).

When the entire quantity of the SFC is completed at the last operation of the order, the system raises 2 IMD messages - Production Order Yield Confirmation message and Order Complete message.The first message informs the ERP about the yield information and sets the operation status to PCNF, while the second message informs the ERP that all operations of this order are completed and sets the operation status for all the operations and order to CNF.Since both these messages are raised with a single action, and within a couple of seconds of each other, the lock set by the first message might not be released when the second message reaches ERP. In such a case, the second message would fail to update the operation status and order status, due to the order being locked by the first message. please configure Auto Retry for Order Complete, the first retry (second attempt) will succeed. This means your ERP and DM systems will be in sync, with a delay of 1 minute or so.

As for Production Order Yield Confirmation and Order Complete, both are using the same BAPI to send request to ERP, which could lead to a locking order issue from ERP side. Basically an auto-retry is recommended, or you can implement inbound queue on ERP side, please refer to this https://me.sap.com/notes/2016712
