• Error message: "Event Rehire is not allowed for assignment type Global Assignment."
• Unable to complete the rehire process for inactive employees to host assignment using the duplicate check feature introduced in Release 2H2025.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Add a new employee.
2. Enter hire date, company, event reason, name, birth date, etc.
3. In the duplicate check, select the host assignment.
4. Fill in all necessary data in personal information and job information.
5. Press "Submit".
6. Observe the error message: "Event Rehire is not allowed for assignment type Global Assignment."

 "Allow rehire of global assignments as concurrent employment" is set as NO.

1. Go to Admin Center -> Manage Data -> Select "Global Assignment Configuration"
2. Under GACONFIG, make sure that the value of "Allow rehire of global assignments as concurrent employment" is set as YES.
