3676384 - Bank Details Missing in Exported Report

Symptom

When exporting data from the “Manage Business Partner Master Data” app, the Report does not contain complete business partner information specifically, bank details are missing.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the "Manage Business Partner Master Data" app.
  2. Locate and use the export option within the application.
  3. Download the business partner data report.
  4. Observe that bank details are missing in the exported report.

Cause

The apps Manage Supplier Master Data, Manage Customer Master Data, Manage Business Partner Master Data, and Export Master Data do not support exporting bank information.

Resolution

  • This restriction is in place due to data security and protection regulations, which prevent the export of sensitive bank details of business partners.
  • As a workaround, the CDS view I_BusinessPartnerBank can be used to retrieve the bank information.
