3676445 - Error "Properties durationInDays are not insertable." when saving a timesheet day entry

Symptom

You receive an error message when trying to save a day entry in the timesheet

Properties durationInDays are not insertable. 

Environment

  • Employee central timesheet
  • Time tracking

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open timesheet for employee who uses daily recording
  2. Create entry for one day and save
  3. Message received

Cause

Configuration error

Resolution

  1. Configure object definitions
  2. Object definition for 'Employee Time Sheet Entry' and 'Time Recording'
  3. Take Action > Make Correction
  4. Click on details next to the durationInDays field
  5. Ensure Visibility is set to 'Editable'
  6. Save your changes
