3676908 - Unable to assign Fixed Asset to Project after settlement in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• The issue pertains to the inability to assign a fixed asset to project AAA after the settlement has been completed.
• The system does not allow the settlement rule to be changed to a fixed asset, regardless of the project status.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app: Run Settlement - Actual.
2. Search for project AAA.
3. Select the project and click on "Run".
4. Observe that the project settles and it should settle to a fixed asset.
5. Reverse the settlement to test again.
6. Attempt to change the settlement rule to a fixed asset in the project. The system does not allow the change, regardless of the project status.

For project, the master data indicates that `With Pass Down Option` and `Pass - Down Settlement Rule` are currently active. Based on this configuration, after completing the settlement from WBS to AUC the settlement rule automatically copies from the higher level to the lower level, preventing manual modification.

1. To modify the settlement rule in WBS, ensure that `With Pass Down Option` and `Pass - Down Settlement Rule` are not selected.
