3677235 - Extended notification emails for PLM Change Record workflow not being sent

Extended notification emails configured for PLM Change Record workflow via transaction code SWNCONFIG and sent via program SWN_SELSEN are not being sent to recipients.

This KBA is only relevant if the following is observed:

• The email notifications have not yet reached SOST.
• The notifications not being sent can be found in table SWN_NOTIF. (The "Object Key"/APP_OBJ_KEY column corresponds to the "work item ID"/WI_ID column of SWWWIHEAD.)
• Class /PLMI/CL_PR_SWN_SUBSCRIPTION is entered as the "Handler" in the relevant "subscription basic data" page of SWNCONFIG.
• All other extended notification configurations which do not use handler class /PLMI/CL_PR_SWN_SUBSCRIPTION are working as expected.

• SAP NetWeaver Application Server for ABAP (all versions)

• ABAP Platform (all versions)
