3677259 - Understanding rounding behavior for numbers exceeding the configured decimal places in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

Symptom

  • The current configuration for a measure in the model is set to 4 decimals.
  • When entering a value such as 0.01239 in the table, the system rounds it to 0.123.
  • When entering a value such as -0.01239 in the table, the system rounds it to -0.124. 
  • The rounded value differs between the positive values and the negative values, and clarification is needed regarding the behavior.
