3677314 - Change Audit button is visible for past periods before the hire date or the date when the employee starts to use Time Sheet

As of 2H 2025 release, Change Audit button is introduced on Time Sheet UI so that it is possible to generate time sheet change document from ESS scenario. Details in Time Sheet Change Audit Document for an Employee Self-Service Scenario can be referred to for more details.

This Change Audit button will only display when the logon user has permission to generate time sheet change document. 

However, it is noticed, the Change Audit button still shows up for user without permission to generate time sheet change document for the past invalid periods on Time Sheet UI, for example before the hire date of the employee or before the date when the employee becomes a time sheet user. 

As in below example, the log on user does not have permission to generate time sheet change document, so when this user accesses the time sheet UI of a valid time sheet period, the Change Audit button does not show up. This is right.
But when the same user navigates to a past invalid time sheet period as in the lower part of below screenshot, the Change Audit button shows up event if the time sheet itself is invalid and also that the user does not have the permission.

It is only a display issue and it has nothing to impact the business. 
A Change Audit button on an invalid time sheet grants no possibility to generate any time sheet change document at all.
